Loft - Siam Discovery (Thailand, Bangkok)

I've been overwhelmed with work lately that I haven't been able to post anything (I'm still trying my best)

So instead of talking about pens today, I want to talk about one of my favourite stationery retail store, "Loft". It is located at Siam Discovery Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.

Trust me, this place is a stationery HEAVEN for stationery lovers. The first time I was there, I spent 2 hours shopping.

(I didn't manage to take any photos of my own, so all these are credited to whatever I found on Google)

As you can see, Loft offers A LOT. If I remember correctly, there are 2 levels to this store. One is dedicated to cute little items, home items, clothes etc and the other level is PARADISE. Pens, crafts, notebooks, whatever. You name it, they have it.
They bring in unique stationeries from Japan and Taiwan as well. Besides their usual stationeries, they bring in series of environmental friendly stationeries.

NOW, this is the best part. I would say this in the calmest way possible, but the BEST thing about shopping at the Loft is....*drum roll* THE PRICE.
Yes! Nothing is extremely pricy or what. A good writing pen can cost around 60-80 cents?
Don't even get me started on the price of their notebooks.
Some items may be more expensive than the rest but they are of superb design and quality.

Check out their website: http://www.loftbangkok.com/
you won't be disappointed.

For any stationery lovers who are planning a trip to Bangkok, stop by the loft @ siam discovery. (prepare loads of money too)

Uni-ball micro & Uni-ball Vision Needle Roller Ball Pen

So I just got back from the bookstore and once again...I was tempted to buy new pens. (Have I already mentioned that I have 4 boxes of pens?) Hahaha!

I was incredibly tempted to get the Uni-ball micro

For those out there who are into ink pens. I highly recommend the uni ball micro.
I think..I do own a few but they were the uni-ball fine - too thick for my liking
For ink pens, there's a fine line between being inky and being too think. So when you combine both together...your words will come out all inky and blotchy.

Check it out at your nearest bookstore! They are...however rather pricey
The best thing about pens is that you can test them out, touch them, get a nice good feel about it and not having to buy them.

Besides the uni ball micro, check out their Uni-ball Vision Needle Roller Ball Pen.
I look at that picture and I get this shivery feeling in me (I have a thing for needle thin pens)
I do have a lot of good (and bad) recommendation for needle thin pens. I will discuss this on another post

I have yet to come across this pen at the stores though but when I do, I'll definitely get my hands on one

That's all for now. If you're reading this and I hope you do, post a comment below about stationeries you would like to know more of or your comments on them.

(photos from Google) - I haven't had time to take any photos of mine

Hello there stationery lovers!

Hello!

I would love to introduce myself and post a nice picture of my hideous face but ... for now, I want to keep my identity anonymous.
I've always wanted to start a blog to write about something or about my life but I realize I really don't have much to say. I always starts with.."today...er..yeah" and ends with a lot of pictures but this time, I really want to try a word-ish blog.
There are fashionistas out there who blog 24/7 about the things they wear or on what stuff they have their eyes on. There are travelers who blog about where they go and the foodies and pictures of what they are eating. I don't like I'm capable to write or talk about books or critique movies either. sooo...I've decided to embrace what I do best..which is to talk about stationeries!
A little about myself.. Ever since I was 7, I've always been OBSESSED with stationeries. I would skip meals to spend my money on a little collectable eraser or a pencil/pen (i'm serious) so since then I started to collect them. It has accumulated so much that I have no choice but to give/throw some away :( Despite giving some away, I still have 4 boxes of pens and a shelf full of notebooks and other miscellaneous stationeries. (stamps, markers, crayons, clay, plastic, tiles, paper, can spray..whatever) - You name them, I have them.
So yeah...I guess this is a start for me to do and talk about what I love most and what I do best.
All the best to me! and of course I hope you find this blog entertaining and interesting. I'll try my best.

Lots of love,

The Stationery Addict
